Our story

Botanical Avenue came into being from a love of flowers and the way they can be used to create moments of joy. There’s nothing more special than when I am able to design arrangements that reflect you, your style and your personality.

The changing colours, style and textures from season to season inspires me. Nature is constantly making me look at flowers in fresh ways to create new designs. This job never gets boring.

Based on the Blagdon Estate, just outside Ponteland, we cover most of North East England, including Northumberland and Newcastle Upon Tyne.

They were everything I could have ever dreamed of and more. with very little direction from us Helen was able to create the most amazing bouquets and floral arrangements that just fitted our venue and our personalities perfectly. 'Helen supplied the flowers for my wedding on 19-11-21. We had postponed twice due to Covid and she was so accommodating about the date changes. I didn't want fresh flowers due to suffering quite bad allergies so after discussing with Helen, I opted for dried flowers and I'm so glad I did because I can now keep them forever! The colours of the dried flowers were so pretty and stood out so well. The bouquets were beautiful, she created gorgeous button holes for the groomsmen and we used her copper arch decorated with flowers during the ceremony which was also absolutely gorgeous.
